From News Today: Sleaze and violence in celluloid is not a new trend for concern. Yet, when the discourse on it is sought to be pushed into the political domain, it raises suspicions. Of course, politicians expressing angst over the film-makers’ penchant to smear their creative works with a luxuriant dose of gore, flesh and pelvic thrusts should be welcomed.
