Bingo caller hands in his microphone after 33 years

When the old Ritz building in which the bingo hall was housed closed down in November 1997, Mark transferred along with the rest of the business to its new club in Europa Square, where he has remained ever since. Now at the age of 60, Mark has decided to call it a day.

During his time as a bingo caller, he has rubbed shoulders with the stars including Barbara Windsor, who was among the celebrities to visit the bingo hall to present cheques to jackpot winners in the national game.
