The much-lamented closing, in late January, of Lincoln Plaza Cinemas, the subterranean six-screen art-house complex at Sixty-second Street and Broadway, will not be the end of movies in the space: Milstein Properties, the landlord who decided not to renew its lease, has nonetheless announced that, after repairs and renovations, the space will reopen as a movie theatre. What Milstein hasn’t announced is whether the revamped version will be run by Lincoln Plaza’s founders, programmers, co-owners, and operators
