EARLIER this month the final legal obstacles to the redevelopment of the former ABC Cinema in Whiteladies Road were removed. It now seems very likely that the long and confusing saga of the derelict building will come to an end, and that it will be open as a cinema once more, perhaps as soon as the end of this year.
