WAVE - Walk-thru Virtual Environment - This is an intersting scientifc report which court my eye a while ago and looks at the concept of creating a screen which can we walked through, or even which can appear and disappear as necessary. In simple form it uses thousands of little droplets of water to screen a fog, which is then able to have an image projected onto it.
