bfi announces first ever film download with a major national newspaper

In the first deal of its kind, the British Film Institute is making a film from the National Film and Television Archive available for free download via The Times website. Timed to coincide with the Cannes Film festival and as part of a successful and ongoing partnership between the bfi and The Times, visitors to the newspaper’s website can now download or stream the bfi-produced The Peaches (1964), a 15-minute short film directed by Michael Gill.
