Details of a proposed overhaul of the West Cumbrian town have been revealed, including to bring into use the former Carlton cinema building, rejuvenate the Promenade and create an outdoor market and activities space in the town.
Allerdale Council has published drawings from its appointed landscape architect Layer.studio, which show how Maryport could look if the proposals are taken forward.
