Ely could boast a new multiplex cinema as soon as 2015.
East Cambridgeshire District Council has revealed it is in ‘advanced talks’ with a ‘national developer’ which is keen to build a new cinema complex in the city.
Council leader Peter Moakes says he is keen for the developer to submit their proposals and for planning permission to be granted by the end of this year.
