Campaigners fighting to save Cambridge’s Arts Picturehouse cinema are celebrating this week, following a strong suggestion the arthouse venue will not be sold.
After the Cineworld multiplex chain bought the Picturehouse company, which includes the St Andrews Street cinema, last year, it was ordered by the Competition Commission to sell one of its two cinemas in the city.
