As Korea celebrates a century of cinematic production, the country’s films are more popular than ever outside of the peninsula. Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” won the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, and Korean cinema is celebrated annually in Paris with a festival on the Champs Élysées.
