Huntingdon is advancing plans for a boutique community cinema to rejuvenate its local arts scene and night-time economy, with a feasibility study set to begin in January 2026. The Huntingdon Business Improvement District (BID) has enlisted Mustard Studio and AOC Architecture Ltd to explore the viability and economic impact of transforming the long-closed 12 All Saints Passage into a cinema. Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the study will evaluate market demand and business prospects, with a report expected by June 2026. Both Mustard Studio, known for its expertise in cinema feasibility studies, and AOC, recognized for their creative architectural projects, express excitement over the project’s potential to invigorate the high street and community engagement. The local community is encouraged to participate in the process through an online survey.
