The P-SBOX is particularly notable for its ability to integrate digital cinema projectors into auditoriums with limited space, featuring noise reduction and flexible installation options. Developed in Valencia, Spain, this technology is compatible with select DCI-compliant projectors from brands like Christie, Barco, and Sharp. CinemaNext and Scrabble Entertainment have announced a new technology distribution agreement for the Middle East. Under this exclusive agreement, Scrabble will distribute CinemaNext’s hardware and software solutions, including the P-SBOX15 family of boothless cinema solutions, 3D mover, and PAA20+/40+ Automation Adapter throughout the region.
The P-SBOX is an active enclosure designed for specific digital cinema projectors, allowing cinema exhibitors with space constraints to integrate this “hushbox” solution directly inside any auditorium. It features a powerful noise reduction system and lifting systems that can be suspended from the ceiling or back wall. The P-SBOX, developed by CinemaNext’s Solutions team in Valencia, Spain, is compatible with select DCI-compliant projection systems from Christie, Barco, and Sharp (formerly NEC).
