Flyover, renowned for its aerial cinematic experiences, has launched a global content licensing division, allowing its films to be showcased in theaters and attractions worldwide for the first time. Previously exclusive to Flyover locations in cities like Vancouver and Las Vegas, their films will now debut externally with “Wonders of the American West” at Take Flight in Wilderness Resort in January 2026. This move addresses the growing demand for high-quality content in the 50+ flying theaters globally, as few have the capability to produce such premium films. Flyover’s productions, which take around two years to create using advanced technology and collaborations with top talent, are now available to immersive venues globally, enhancing their storytelling reach. The initiative marks a significant expansion, with Flyover’s COO Lisa Adams highlighting the opportunity to bring their storytelling to a broader audience.

Flyover, the award-winning flying theater experience, has officially launched a global content licensing division, making its cinematic films available to theaters and attractions worldwide for the very first time. Flyover has spent more than a decade setting the standard for real-footage, aerial-cinematic experiences. Until now, its films were exclusive to Flyover’s own attractions in Vancouver, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Iceland. That changes today.
As part of the launch, Flyover has secured its first partner: Take Flight at Wilderness Resort, which will debut “Wonders of the American West” in January 2026, marking the first time a Flyover film will screen outside a Flyover-owned location. The film will run for two years.
What makes this significant for the industry:
– Growing demand: There are now 50+ flying theaters globally, yet very few can produce world-class content in-house.
– Premium craftsmanship: Flyover’s films take approximately two years to create, using custom gyro-stabilized helicopter rigs, FPV drones, and real-location cinematography.
– Elite creative talent: Collaborations include drone-racing champion Gabriel Kocher, and acclaimed composers such as Elliott Wheeler, Big Dipper, and Tom Holkenborg.
– Custom tech integration: Every film is engineered to sync precisely with motion seats, projection systems, 35-channel spatial audio, and multisensory effects.
– Global expansion: The new licensing arm opens Flyover’s library—featuring the Western U.S., Canada, Iceland, and more, to immersive venues worldwide.
“This milestone allows us to bring Flyover’s storytelling to millions more guests,” says COO and Executive Producer Lisa Adams. “Very few attractions have the capability to create this level of content—we’re excited to support them.”
