On the 14th January 2000 I bought my very first domain name (madcornishprojectionist.co.uk), something that was still fairly unusual for the time. It was the longest name you could buy at the time, it is still one of the longest around. The concept and website had been around since 1997 in one form or another but this was the first time it had a proper name and location. It was from here that everything else came from. The news stories started around 2014 and there are now nearly 19,000 of them on the site, plus all the other blog posts and content.
