The International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) has announced the winners of its Fifth Annual North America Cinema Awards, recognizing exceptional achievements in cinema innovation and presentation. The awards, decided by a panel of ICTA board members and industry leaders, will be presented during the ICTA Los Angeles Seminar Series from January 12-14, 2026, at the Universal City Hilton. Honorees include Megaplex South Jordan at Daybreak in Utah for Best New Cinema Build, Roadhouse Cinemas in Arizona for Best Cinema Refurbishment, Southampton Playhouse in New York for Best Classic Cinema, and Regal Boise in Idaho for Best Use of Technology. ICTA Chairman Mark Mayfield highlighted the increase in submissions this year, underscoring the growing prestige of these awards in recognizing technological advancements in the cinema industry. The seminar, co-hosted with Celluloid Junkie and Boxoffice Pro, aims to foster innovation and collaboration in redefining cinema’s future.
