The Mégarex cinema in Haguenau, France, has launched an innovative theater featuring the first Onyx 2 LED screen in the country, paired with the immersive ICE Theaters concept. This cutting-edge installation, which includes a 13.80-meter screen, Dolby Atmos sound with Darkside™ speakers, and reclinable seating, offers an enhanced viewing experience with superior color uniformity and contrast. The theater, which now accommodates 138 seats from the original 238, opened to the public with screenings of “Zootopie 2” and upcoming reservations for “Avatar: De feu et de cendres.” The ICE technology is part of a growing global presence, with 57 theaters worldwide, including a recent addition in Germany.
