The sensor will have a resolution of 33 Mp, but it is unknown whether it will be the same matrix as in α7 IV or a completely new one. A new processor is expected to provide enhanced AI processing capabilities. The camera will have the same design as the α7 rV, including a 4-axis display mount, but the large grip and larger set of controls will remain the prerogative of the α9 line.
