Equity, the performing arts and entertainment trade union, has expressed support for Puy Du Fou’s £600m history-based theme park plans near Bicester, Oxfordshire. The proposed site includes four period villages and three hotels based on different British historical periods. Equity highlights the potential for thousands of skilled jobs and training opportunities in creative industries, with Puy du Fou aiming to open the attraction in 2029 and employ around 2,000 people while supporting additional jobs in the local economy.
