Life has been reel good for retired projectionist David Butterman of West Hempstead. He’s had a love affair with movies for all of his 66 years, more than 30 of which were spent in theater projection booths in the city. He spoke last week with Newsday staff writer Daniel Bubbeo about the pleasure he gets playing movies on his Bell & Howell Filmosound projector.
