Digital cinema to attract big money

MUMBAI, MARCH 23: The Rs 6,800 crore Indian film industry will get a major boost by 2007 with over 2,500 movie theatres turning digital. Digitalization of Cinema and movie exhibition business will attract over Rs 500 crore of investments from companies including the Essel group, Reliance Entertainment and Apollo International.
