Richard Shonfeld submits: The so-called digital cinema revolution – the inevitable total electronic transition of movie production, distribution, and exhibition from analog celluloid film to digital files — is being led by Morristown, N.J.-based Access Integrated Technologies, Inc., or AccessIT (AIXD). Some industry insiders have called the digital revolution the most important development in filmdom since the introduction of the “talkies” in the late 1920s. AccessIT’s share price is currently hovering around $10, between a low of $3.25 in January, 2005 and a high of $14.73 on May 8, 2006.
