Paramount and Universal are splitting up UIP

From 1st Jan 07 Paramount and Universal are splitting up UIP. UIP will no longer control 15 of the larger markets it currently has. They are keeping Japan, Korea and 18 other small territories where it would not be worth Paramount or Universal opening an office. Paramount is taking over the UK with the international office being run from the states.
