(AGI) – Rome, Oct. 12 – A special upper house committee has ruled to speed up the procedures to put to the vote and eventually pass a bill which includes some of the provisions previously contained in the so-called “decree on cinema”. Culture Minister Rocco Bottiglione expressed his satisfaction at this decision and thanked upper house speaker Marcello Pera, the group leaders within the upper house culture committee of both the ruling majority and the opposition and its chairman Franco Asciutti “for their interest in cinema-related issues”. “Now, the procedure to pass the bill will be much shorter”.
