Cineplex Odeon Barrhaven Cinemas Grand Opening Festivities To Support Child Find Ontario

Cineplex Entertainment (TSX:CGX.UN) is very pleased to announce the official grand opening of the new seven-screen Cineplex Odeon Barrhaven Cinemas this weekend, starting with a gala fundraiser Thursday, October 20, 2005, in support of Child Find Ontario. In attendance that night will be Ellis Jacob, President and CEO of Cineplex Entertainment; Jan Harder, Councillor for the Bell-South Nepean ward; and Kym Harley, Vice Chair of Child Find Ontario’ s Ottawa Chapter; as well as numerous other local leaders and members of the Canadian film, entertainment and business communities. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the official opening ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Guests will then be treated to screenings of a selection of major motion pictures. The theatre will be closed to the general public for the evening.
