Universal Pictures debuts digital cinema specs flick

A movie called “Serenity” created an unusual buzz in Hollywood Monday night. It was Universal Pictures debut of the first movie created and distributed based on Digital Cinema Initiative LLC technical specifications, a collaborative effort between the seven major studios to distribute digital movies to theatres.
