Iconic Pushkin Cinema to become musical theater

Moscow’s iconic Pushkin Cinema is changing its line of work as the venue is going to be turned in to a musical theatre over the summer. The overhaul is expected to cost the cinema around $6 million and will be finished by October 2012. It will be taken on by the Stage Entertainment company, which known for its Russian adaptations of “Cats”, “Mamma Mia!”, “Beauty and Beast” and “Zorro”.
