It’s 6pm and we’re standing what looks like a deserted car park but there’s more to it than that. Head on over to the Pavilion Car Park in Alexandra Palace and you’ll be whisked back in time to the 50s where waiters came via roller skate and the drive-in was the typical date night. The team behind Rooftop Film Club are recreating a retro experience this month. For only £22 a car (much cheaper than the cinema if you’re packing them all in!) you get to spend a few hours getting cosy in your car while the coolest waiters around bring you snacks when you flash your hazard lights.
