Asian cinegoers rue closure of ‘affordable’ Gulf Cinema complex

A large number of Asian   expatriates are unable to catch their favourite   movie stars in  action  these days as the landmark Gulf Cinema complex  has  downed  shutters,  at least for now.
While those who run the complex say the  closure is  only temporary as   some “urgent work” is being undertaken  to renovate  the place, nobody   seems to know when it will reopen.
