Recently, I was invited to the reopening of the IMAX theatre in the Science Museum in London, newly dubbed The Ronson Theatre. This location is now special as it’s one of only a few IMAX cinemas in the world to be able to show both IMAX Laser Digital projections – in full height 1.43 aspect ratio, while also having the option to show IMAX 70mm film prints, making it, in a technical sense at least, one of the best cinemas in the world for picture quality.
