The boss of Merlin Cinemas has today revealed that work has started on the creation of one of Devon’s biggest multiplex in the former BHS store in Torquay. Merlin Cinemas founder Geoff Greaves has confirmed that he hopes some screens will be open ‘before the summer’. Planning permission for the new 13-screen cinema was approved last August – making it the biggest multiplex in Devon.
