Private equity mogul Guy Hands today said a sale or flotation of the £1 billion Odeon cinema chain owned by his Terra Firma is unlikely to happen for “at least two years”.
Hands appointed former Vodafone executive Paul Donovan to run Odeon earlier this year. He told the Private Equity International forum in London: “We’re focusing on getting the business in the best possible place.”
