Many Cardiffians will remember the Monico Cinema in Rhiwbina. I recently came across a letter I received from Alan Price-Talbot, of Caerphilly, in October 2015, who wrote: “The Monico played an important part of my infant life and I believe it kept my mother sane during the Blitz.”
