CINEMA MANAGER REQUIRED, Electric Cinema White City

The Electric Cinema White City, an intimate boutique 3 screen cinema located in the heart of the BBC Television Centre White City, is looking for a Cinema Manager. Screen 1 has 51 seats, Screen 2 has 37 seats, and the third screening room for Soho House members only, has 32 seats.

 

This new build compliments our existing cinemas – the Electric Cinema Portobello and Electric Cinema Shoreditch – and is our very first 3 screen site. The Electrics enjoy a large loyal clientele who appreciate the intimacy and comfort our cinemas offer. Equally popular for private hire, our cinemas’ clients range from advertising agencies to city companies with screenings for press launches or corporate entertaining to birthdays and filmmakers’ rushes, including distributors screenings. The Electric Cinema White City is fully digital with 4K projection in all screens, Dolby Atmos, 3D and satellite capabilities, as such the position requires a wide range of skills including knowledge and experience in all forms of film and video formats; AV/IT knowledge and experience is preferred as well as the ability to work with different computer systems and processes especially Vista Box Office systems.

 

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years technical cinema experience including actual commercial cinema experience; be able to work well within a team, liaise with clients, flexible and with a readiness to be completely hands-on. Candidates will be required to work 40-45 hours a week with an annual salary between £32-35,000/annum, depending on experience.
