One of the 2014’s most exciting new venues is The Odyssey Cinema in St. Albans in Hertfordshire, a glorious restoration of the old Odeon cinema in London Road – entitled the Odyssey partly in homage to director Stanley Kubrick (who lived nearby) and partly in reference to its protracted development, supervised by CEO James Hannaway who also owns The Rex in nearby Berkhamsted.
