On Sept. 3, the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County celebrated the reopening of Paramount Cinema, Great Eastern Theatres, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Paramount Cinema, 301 S. Front St., is a first-run movie theater with four screens featuring Digital Cinema projection. The Great Eastern Theatre Company was established in 1981 in Toledo and it continues to be an independent movie exhibitor operating indoor and outdoor theaters in Northwest Ohio. They are committed to providing current films in a clean, safe, and family-friendly environment.
