Curzon has been awarded a licence to convert the former public hall in Weybridge into a £1.5 million two-screen art house cinema.
The cinema chain plans to inhabit the empty Weybridge Hall building in Church Street on a 25-year lease.
Going before the Elmbridge Borough Council licensing sub-committee via video link on Monday morning (July 6), lawyer Richard Taylor, representing Curzon, expanded more on the plans.
