In existence since 1972, the Downtown Community Television Center—or DCTV—has been providing resources, education, and community support to documentary filmmakers in New York City for 50 years. In 2022 comes a new chapter for the group: their headquarters, located in an old firehouse at the nexus of Chinatown, City Hall, and Tribeca–has been reinvented as a cinema.
