A family-of-four trapped in Mallacoota for six days were holed up in the local cinema watching Frozen and Happy Feet as blazes raged around them.
Canadian Meaghan Wegg, 34, and her Australian-born husband Tim Buckley, 37, travelled to the popular holiday destination with their daughter Georgia, three, and son Jackson, five on December 27.
But they were forced to seek refuge in the cinema after fleeing to the beach as the blazes approached on New Year’s Eve.
