The UK’s first-ever drive-in Glastonbury livestream will take place in Surrey later this month.The ‘Drive-In, Sit-Out’ event of ‘Glastonbury Presents – Live at Worthy Farm’ will get budding festival goers as close the real thing as possible on May 22 and, in true Glastonbury style, will take place come rain or shine.Sarah Traynor, managing director of FLIX, said: “We are proud to be partnering with Trafalgar Releasing and Driift to bring this one-of-a-kind event to our drive-in cinema.
“With some of the biggest acts in music, we are excited to be part of this unmissable celebration, allowing music fans to experience the event on our outdoor big screens and support the safe return of events.’’The event will be set in 180 acres of beautiful grounds rolling onto the Surrey Hills at Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Cranleigh. Huge LED big screens will present the festival.
