Forty-five years ago, Gurdip Singh Chaggar was brutally murdered at the mere age of eighteen. Alongside being an engineering student, Gurdip was also a karate student and a keen hockey player.
It had been the evening of Friday 4 June 1976 when Gurdip was going to the cinema with some friends, as he occasionally did. It was outside the cinema that the dreadful event of the stabbing had taken place.
