He That Is Without Cinema: Church Converting Hoboken’s Only Movie Theater Into Community Space 

While COVID shutdowns hampered the entire cinema industry, the Hoboken facility reopened briefly last fall—only to go dark once again after a few weeks. Media queries to Bow Tie went universally unanswered, and local officials had no insight on the multi-screen theater facility under the 14th Street Viaduct, serving as Hoboken’s sole operating movie theater.

On Wednesday Hoboken Grace announced their plan to take over the now vacant facility, using it as a shared community space for their operations and for local non-profits.
