IMERSA Hosts Fulldome Summit

IMERSA (Immersive Media Entertainment, Research, Science & Arts) hosted a Summit on fulldome theaters with 190 attendees.  The conference was in Denver with fulldome screenings in the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the SIE Film Center and the Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado in Boulder.   These screenings were all award-winning full dome shows, including full length screenings of To Space and Back, Dinosaurs at Dusk, Flight of the Butterflies, MUSICA: Why is the Universe Beautiful? andDream to Fly.  Clips from additional shows were shown and discussed.  The Fulldome Database, one of the media partners for the Summit, maintains an on-line list of all available fulldome shows.  IMERSA believes there are currently 290 fulldome presentations in distribution and 86 producers of fulldome content.
