MAREEL’s cinema screens will be closed later this month to allow technicians to replace and update the projectors. Films will be unavailable at the Lerwick venue from Sunday 26 January to Thursday 30 January. Technicians will upgrade first generation Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) compliant equipment to enable better cinema experiences at Mareel.
