Marketplace Barnsley is to have a seven-screen Odeon Cinema by 2015

Property development specialists, Wilson Bowden and Ashcroft, have announced the exchange of a seven-screen cinema, as part of the £125m Marketplace Barnsley scheme due for completion in 2015. Odeon has signed a 15 year lease and will join anchor store Debenhams and an additional 35 retail and leisure units. The leisure offering will sit alongside a new Market Hall which will incorporate the successful indoor market which already benefits from a loyal following from Barnsley and the wider catchment area.
