An historic pub has been bought by North Lincolnshire Council – and could be turned into a cinema.

The Market Tavern, in Crowle’s Market Place, has sat unused for a number of years but has been bought by the local authority for an undisclosed sum.

The council now intends to work with residents to transform the old pub into a centre for the community, with a number of suggestions put forward.
