Monday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced when gyms across the state will reopen. Yet many other businesses not only remain closed, but also don’t yet have an indication of when they could be given the go-ahead to open their doors.
That includes movie theaters, which the governor specifically addressed in his Monday briefing. He said the question for businesses that remain closed boils down to how essential they are – weighed against the potential risk of COVID-19 spread.
