Odeon, Vue, Curzon, Cineworld and Picturehouse have all announced immediate closures of their UK cinemas to help tackle the spread of coronavirus.
The news came on Tuesday morning (March 17), after the government encouraged people to limit non-essential social contact. A number of theatres have already decided to close their doors for now.
