Renovated Planetarium With Latest Facilities To Open By Feb Next Year

Equipped with the state-of-the-art projection system, full dome hanging screen and an all-new space gallery, the renovated Indira Gandhi Science Complex Planetarium, commonly known as Taramandal, is set to reopen by February next year.

The show arena has been upgraded from celluloid films to mirage RGB (red, green, blue) pure laser projection system, which will enable the audience to experience both 2D and 3D shows with deep immersive and cinematic experience of the space and the universe.
