Revised plans have been filed to redevelop the site of an historic cinema in Coventry to provide almost 100 student bed spaces.Beauford Group is seeking the go-ahead to demolish the existing building at 150 Far Gosford Street to make way for the construction of a new seven-storey facility.Originally built as a cinema more than 100 years ago, the building has most recently been used as a student’s union nightclub before being occupied by The Empire in 2015.
