Transformation of historic Stockport cinema that stood empty for years hits new milestone 

The transformation of a historic Stockport cinema has taken another step forward. The Tatton Cinema in Gatley had stood empty since it closed almost 20 years ago, despite numerous attempts over the years to renovate it. But two years ago, Stockport Homes bought the cinema, and announced ambitious plans to create affordable homes on the site.
